ACM CELEBRATES FIRST-EVER COMMEMORATIVE BOOK AT BARNES & NOBLE, LITTLE ROCK
WHAT: Barnes & Noble will host a special signing of, This Is Country: A Backstage Pass to the Academy of Country Music Awards with two Arkansas natives – the book’s author LISA LEE from Cabot and reigning ACM New Artist of the Year, JUSTIN MOORE, who is originally from Poyen and now resides outside Little Rock - on Thursday, December 18th at 12:00pm at Barnes & Noble in Little Rock located at 11500 Financial Center Parkway.
From the first informal awards ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium in 1966 to today's star-studded show on CBS, generations of country's biggest superstars have graced the Academy of Country Music Awards stage. Now, for the first time ever, the ACM has opened its archive to reveal never-before-seen photos and memorabilia capturing some of the greatest moments in the history of country music.
About the Author: Based in Los Angeles after a decade of living in Nashville, Lisa Lee has been covering country music for more than twenty years. She has written, produced, and corresponded for CMT/MTV Networks and The Nashville Network. A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Lee is the Academy’s Senior Vice President of Creative & Content Production and editor of the quarterly magazine, ACM Tempo.
