VOTING TIMELINE FOR 2014 AWARDS

October 25th Deadline to Apply for New Memberships &

November1st Deadline to Renew Existing Memberships

To Be Eligible to Vote for the

49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in 2014

Encino, CA (October 7, 2013) – The Academy of Country Music announced today the ballot timeline for professional membership voting for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, to be held in Spring 2014 on an as-yet-unannounced date.  Details and timeline for fan voting will be announced at a later date.

In addition, the Academy is announcing that new membership applications must be completed by 5:00 PM CT on Friday, October 25, 2013 for members to be eligible to vote during the 2014 Awards cycle.

Existing membership renewals must be completed by 5:00 PM CT on Friday, November 1, 2013 for members to be eligible to vote during the 2014 Awards cycle.

 

The ballot timeline for professional members is as follows:

Nomination Round Ballot Opens – Wednesday, December 4, 2013

Nomination Round Ballot Closes – Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Second Round Ballot Opens – Monday, January 13, 2014

Second Round Ballot Closes – Tuesday, January 21, 2014

Final Round Ballot Opens – Monday, March 10, 2014

Final Round Ballot Closes – Monday, March 17, 2014
