OFFICERS AND NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR 2013-2014
ENCINO, CA (September 24, 2013) – The Academy of Country Music is announcing the newly elected Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 term. New members of the Board of Directors include (full board listing with categories also attached):

This year, there were six qualifying professional categories that were elected by the Academy’s membership. In addition to those elected, director-at-large positions have been appointed by Chairman Ken Robold, President Darin Murphy and Vice President Paul Barnabee. Directors are elected from each category based on the number of members in that category. Each director serves staggered two-year terms, with half the board membership changing each year.
“I’m excited to see what these 10 terrific new members, with their original perspectives, will bring to the already energetic group of dedicated professionals on the Board,” said Robold. “We’re blessed to have true commitment from so many hard working industry heavyweights to deliver the mission of the Academy, as we gear up for what will be key years in ACM history.”
