ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC ANNOUNCES OPEN SUBMISSIONS DATE FOR 48th ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® AWARDS COUNTRY MUSIC RADIO AWARDS CATEGORIES
Starting Wednesday, November 14th Current Academy Radio Members May Submit Nominations at www.acmcountry.com
Application Deadline for New Memberships is THIS FRIDAY, November 9, 2012
ENCINO, CA (November 5, 2012) –The Academy of Country Music announced today that open submissions for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will begin next week for the radio awards categories. Submissions will be accepted starting, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 and will end at 12noon PT on Friday, December 7, 2012. The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air LIVE on CBS Television next spring, date to be announced soon.
The Academy of Country Music Awards telecast recognizes winners for the previous calendar year; the radio submission period is between January 1, 2012 and December 7, 2012.
Only current ACM members may submit for Station or On-Air Personality category consideration; the application deadline for new memberships is THIS FRIDAY, November 9, 2012 and for renewal of existing memberships is Friday, November 16, 2012. · On-Air Personality of the Year – National
· On-Air Personality of the Year – Major (Markets 1-25)
· On-Air Personality of the Year – Large (Markets 26-50)
· On-Air Personality of the Year – Medium (Markets 51-100)
· On-Air Personality of the Year – Small (Markets 101+)
· Radio Station of the Year – Major (Markets 1-25)
· Radio Station of the Year – Large (Markets 26-50)
· Radio Station of the Year – Medium (Markets 51-100)
· Radio Station of the Year – Small (Markets 101+)
