ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® ANNOUNCES OFFICERS AND NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR 2012-2013
Newly elected Officers for the Academy of Country Music include:
Chairman of the Board - Butch Waugh
President - Ken Robold
Vice-President - Darin Murphy, CAA
Treasurer - Duane Clark, FBM&M
Parliamentarian - Paul Moore, WME
Secretary - Tiffany Moon, Academy of Country Music
This year, there are 13 qualifying professional categories that are elected by the Academy’s membership. In addition to those elected, director-at-large positions have been appointed by Chairman Butch Waugh, President Ken Robold and Vice President Darin Murphy. Directors are elected from each category based on the number of members in that category. Each director serves staggered two-year terms, with half the board membership changing each year.
“I’m thrilled to work with so many dedicated industry leaders who have invested their time and shown a true commitment to hands-on involvement with the Academy,” said Waugh.
