ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC ANNOUNCES VOTING TIMELINE FOR 2013 AWARDS

Nov 9th Deadline to Apply for New Memberships & Nov 16th Deadline to Renew Existing Memberships

To Be Eligible to Vote for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in 2013

 

Encino, CA (October 11, 2012) – The Academy of Country Music announced today the ballot timeline for professional membership voting for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, to be held in Spring 2013 on an as-yet-unannounced date.  Details and timeline for fan voting will be announced at a later date.

 

In addition, the Academy is announcing that new membership applications must be completed by 5:00 PM CT on Friday, November 9, 2012 for members to be eligible to vote during the 2013 Awards cycle.

 

Existing membership renewals must be completed by 5:00 PM CT on Friday, November 16, 2012 for members to be eligible to vote during the 2013 Awards cycle.

 

The ballot timeline for professional members is as follows:

1st Ballot Opens – Monday, December 3, 2012

1st BallotCloses – Monday, December 10, 2012

2nd Ballot Opens – Monday, January 14, 2013

2nd BallotCloses – Monday, January 21, 2013

3rd Ballot Opens – Monday, March 11, 2013

3rd Ballot Closes – Monday, March 18, 2013
