Lauren Brauchli, Amy Cannon & Jenny Driessen Promoted to Manager

Tommy Moore & Addie Saloman Promoted to Coordinator

Kathryn Nauman Hired as Assistant

 

Encino, CA (July 25, 2012) – The Academy of Country Music is announcing staff promotions and a recent hire, including Lauren Brauchli, upped to Manager, Creative, PR & Production, Amy Cannon promoted to Manager, Brand Integration & Strategic Partnerships, and Jenny Driessen, advancing to Social Media Manager, Creative, PR & Production.  Tommy Moore has been promoted to Coordinator, Administration & Operations andAddie Saloman has been promoted to Coordinator, Membership & Industry Relations.  In addition, new hire Kathryn Nauman has been brought on as Assistant, Membership & Industry Relations.  All positions are based out the Academy’s headquarters in Encino, CA except for Cannon, who is based in Nashville, TN.

 

“The Academy’s staff has more than doubled in the past five years, and we are excited to recognize the good work of so many of our newest staff members,” said Tiffany Moon, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Academy of Country Music.  

 

Last May, Brauchli joined the Academy following her graduation from Ithaca College with a degree in Television/Radio. She previously interned at the Academy in spring of her junior year.  Brauchli was a key contributor to the award-winning documentary film, “Bound By Hope: One Family’s Story,” which chronicled the life of a 4-year-old boy with a rare genetic disease.  She is a New Jersey native and reports to Lisa Lee, Senior Vice President, Creative, PR & Production.

 

Cannon joined the Academy last summer, when her work on sponsorship procurement with Teresa George at Cornerstone Communications was brought in-house at the Academy.  Prior joining Cornerstone and the Academy, she worked at Lipscomb University in fundraising and alumni relations.  She is a North Carolina native and graduated as Valedictorian and summa cum laude from Lipscomb University.  She reports to Teresa George, Senior Vice President, Brand Integration & Strategic Partnerships.

 

Driessen hails from Menasha, Wisconsin and holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Communication from the University of Southern California. Driessen joined the ACM in 2010 as an events department intern and was promoted to Coordinator, Membership & Events before moved to her position in the Creative, PR & Production department.  She oversees and implements social media strategy for the Academy and reports to Brooke Primero, Senior Vice President, Publicity.

 

Atlanta-born and Chicago-raised, Moore attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where he recently graduated with a degree in Broadcasting and Electronic Communications. He joined the Academy in December, and coordinates overall administration of the ACM office with focus on ticketing, operations, finance, and Board of Directors communication. He reports to Tiffany Moon, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, and Erick Long, Senior Vice President, Operations & Events.

 

Saloman joined the Academy last November as the assistant in the Membership & Events department, assisting with Academy's membership and events.  With her recent promotion to Coordinator, Membership & Industry Relations, Saloman will maintain the Academy’s awards voting research, liaise with the committees and coordinate key Academy industry events.  A native of Massachusetts, Saloman attended Belmont University, where she earned degrees in Music Business and Finance. She reports to Michelle Goble, Senior Vice President, Membership & Industry Relations.

 

Nauman, an Austin, Texas, native, joined the Academy after graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Tourism Management from the W.P. Carey School of Business in May 2012. While attending ASU, she completed internships with the Academy and in country radio with Clear Channel Radio.  She also interned in event management with the 2011 Arizona State Fair. She reports to Michelle Goble, Senior Vice President, Membership & Industry Relations.
