LAUREN ALAINA, LUKE BRYAN & PAUL WORLEY BRING MUSIC TO LIFE WITH ACM LIFTING LIVES MUSIC CAMP 2012
Encino, CA (June 21, 2012) – ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp is in session this week in Nashville, with campers from around the country participating in a week of activities and excursions around Music City. The residential camp has the dual purpose of studying Williams syndrome and other developmental disabilities and providing music enrichment through performance and education.
On Wednesday, ACM award winner Luke Bryan visited the campers during their recording session, where they recorded their original song, “We’re Having a Party” with producer Paul Worley. The campers wrote the song on Monday with Brett Eldredge and David Lee Murphy. Later that day, Lauren Alaina dropped by and participated in a karaoke event at Winner’s with the campers.
The camp is a partnership between ACM Lifting Lives and Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.
